Both organizations empower students and schools with needed resources.
The Palace Foundation announced its collaboration with U.S.-based, IB Roof Systems to provide groceries and personal care packages to more than 90 children from three local schools. IB Roof Systems, a leading provider of PVC roofing solutions, held a contractor retreat at Moon Palace Jamaica in January, where they hosted children from St. Christopher School for the Deaf in Brown’s Town, Walkerswood Academy, and Parry Town Primary School, all in St. Ann’s parish. The foundations partnered together to give the children care packages alongside their families, who expressed heartfelt joy in receiving the gifts.
Additionally, five care packages valued at $3,000 were also donated to the Moon Palace Jamaica staff. All care package items were purchased from local Jamaican wholesalers, and everyone attending the retreat remained socially distanced and followed the strict Purely Palace health protocols.
