Palace Resorts non-profit organization creates a campaign against substance abuse

The Palace Foundation creates “Sowing Values”, a campaign to combat substance abuse. According to a census conducted in 2018 in Quintana Roo, teenagers first consumer illegal substances between the ages of 15 and 19 years. The consumption of substances in the state is above the national average and that is why the campaign titled “Sowing Values” will take place in one of the most vulnerable areas of Quintana Roo and where most of the Palace Resorts employees reside. The campaign will consist of development workshops, individual and group therapies, recreational and environmental activities for young people and parents, professional guidance services, youth meetings, recycling workshops and tree planting in collaboration with the Plant for the Planet Initiative. Palace Foundation together with a local high school, Conapel Cancun III will host a motivational session with keynote speaker Hanns Myhuloots, who throughout his history of substance abuse aims to change and impact the lives of young people. Palace Foundation is an institution created in 2004 by the board of directors of Palace Resorts hotel chain. The foundation operates with a single objective in mind: to be an organization that gives back and solves social problems by returning to the community. The ultimate goal of the Palace Foundation is to bring hope to people in need, as well as to care for the environment and the communities by offering our resources, time and effort.

With eight oceanfront resorts overlooking the sparkling turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, Palace Resorts sets the highest standards for five-star all-inclusive vacations in Mexico and Jamaica.
