Both foundations have come together to support La Casa Hogar and children in need.
Former Mexican LPGA professional golfer and one of the top-ranked female golfers in the world, Lorena Ochoa has teamed up with Fundación Palace for the 7th annual charity golf tournament at Moon Palace Cancun. The tournament brought golfers from around the world, to share a day on the green and raise money for La Casa Hogar, an orphanage run by the Palace Foundation, where local children receive housing, healthcare, and formal education. Profits will also go towards giving academic scholarships to La Barranca Educational Center, a project of the Lorena Ochoa Foundation. Golf enthusiasts joined Ochoa and Palace executive teams at the tournament’s gala, followed by a one-on-one clinic with Ochoa. Participants tested their skills at the Jack Nicklaus–designed course, the first in the Mexican Caribbean.
The tournament had the largest attendee event in its history, with more than 150 players and 64 sponsors, including: Moon Spa & Golf Club Cancun, Palace Productions, Wallgrow, Club Car, Dream Art, Goelbra / Armstrong, Hotel Shops, Grupo Solen / Escala Tents, and Jaguar / Land Rover. All events were socially distant and followed our strict Purely Palace health protocols .
