    We have just returned from a cruise from Mobile, Alabama to Cozumel and Progresso, Mexico. Before leaving, I called the Premier Palace membership toll free number and explained that I have been a Palace Premier member for almost twenty years (Membership #1118813) and that while I was in Cozumel I would like to visit the Cozumel Palace , as this was the only property in Mexico that I had yet to vacation in. I was informed this would be no problem, since we were long standing members and we could utilize a free day pass to visit and tour the property for any future visit. My wife and I were very excited to visit the Cozumel Palace , as we were looking for a Palace resort to book for this summer’s vacation.
    Upon arriving at the Palace Cozumel resort our nightmare would begin. We explained to the ladies at the desk that we were long standing members of Palace Premier and that we had previously talked to the Palace Premier membership and were told that we would be extended complimentary day passes, however upon issuance of the passes we were told that we were being charged almost $200.00 for said one day passes. We explained that we were told that these passes would be complimentary and if there was any confusion we were not looking to receive free food or drinks, but were rather looking to get a tour of the property for a future summer vacation as this was the only property that we had not stayed in.
    I have been a VERY SATISFIED customer in Palace and Hard Rock properties and have referred over 100 vacationers to your properties over our close to 20 year membership, however that will never happen again, as I was treated in such a harsh and dreadful manner that I will never again vacation with your properties. I was told that if I did not want to purchase the day passes, which I was previously told would be complimentary that I would have to leave the property. I was totally caught off guard and believed that this must surely be a mistake or some kind of bad joke. I again reiterated that we were not looking to be given any free food or drinks and were simply looking to be given a tour of the property and all the amenities that could be utilized if we chose to book a week’s vacation here. Again, we were told in no uncertain terms that this would not be possible without the passes which again we would be charged close to $200.00 to obtain.
    I am writing this to inform you that you have lost a valued and loyal member who has given you and your company close to twenty years of 100% positive feedback and have gone out of my way to lead many of my customers and friends to take a vacations at one of your incredible properties. I am sorry to see that your company no longer values its long standing members and as such will lose all future business from my wife and I and all those that we might have referred.
