The world’s leading travel and tourism event hopes to restore travel around the world.
The 20th World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) Global Summit will be held at Moon Palace Arena April 25-27. The biggest and most important summit for the travel and tourism industry was initially planned for last spring but canceled due to COVID-19. This year’s event was announced at a press conference in Mexico City, where Jose Chapur, President of Palace Resorts, thanked WTTC and the Government of Quintana Roo for their trust in holding this important global travel event at Moon Palace Cancun. Palace Resorts holds the WTTC Safe Travels stamp and has been conducting the highest standards of hygiene and security since the beginning of the pandemic.
The event will take place at the Moon Palace Convention Centre in the heart of the resort and will be in a hybrid format, allowing those unable to travel to benefit from the content virtually. The Global Summit will be first major live event in the travel and tourism sector, and world-leading hygiene and safety protocols will be in place throughout to ensure the health and safety of every participant. This includes testing and regular health checks guided by the very latest medical and scientific advice.
