Iconic Irish band set to rock Moon Palace Cancun this weekend
How do Irish rock legends The Cranberries prepare for their upcoming Moon Palace Cancun concert? By cutting a new album, of course.
Only days ahead of their concert at Moon Palace Cancun, the band announced the completion of a new acoustic album via Twitter, as well as tour dates in Europe. Luckily, Moon Palace guests will have the opportunity to see one of the most popular bands of the 1990s well before then as they kick off the Palace Resorts’ 2017 entertainment lineup from February 10-12.

The new album will be the band’s seventh and will include instrumental versions of some of their most recognized hits, including Linger, Zombie and Dreams. The Cranberries have sold over 40 million albums worldwide, with four top 20 albums on Billboard 200 as well as eight top 20 singles on Modern Rock Tracks.
Simultaneously described as alternative rock, indie pop and Celtic rock, the band’s distinctive vocals and moody rhythms helped them shoot to stardom in the early 1990s and they have arguably taken their place on the podium of all-time great Irish musicians, alongside U2 and Van Morrison.
The band will perform inside the Moon Palace Arena at AAA Four Diamond Moon Palace Cancun as the first of numerous chart-topping acts to play at Palace Resorts in Jamaica and Mexico this year, including Survivor (Feb. 25), Cheap Trick (March 17-18) and Sean Paul (April 1).
