Massive Chocolate Display takes over the Moon!

Palace Resorts gives Christmas a whole new meaning by creating the first-ever 1,500-pound chocolate Christmas Village at the Sunrise lobby of its signature property, Moon Palace Cancun. As the first and only resort in Mexico to have crafted such a decadent treat, the brand had its best chocolatiers and pastry chefs working for a total of over 4,500 hours! That’s right, over the course of three months our pastry experts have crafted intricate, detailed figurines, chocolate sculptures, mini resort-looking villas but most importantly its centerpiece – the Christmas tree. The village which is comprised of only chocolate has an estimated cost of about $10,000. Guests can also find carefully crafted chimneys with white chocolate covered tops to resemble the snow. Chocolate carved penguins with assorted expressions. A completely lit chocolate Ferris wheel with carnival-style chocolate swings, holding tiny bears and coated in edible gold sparkles. A toy train surrounds the entire chocolate village. Each has a different coating of M&M’s to resemble the twinkling lights on houses in the dark night of Christmas Eve.

With eight oceanfront resorts overlooking the sparkling turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, Palace Resorts sets the highest standards for five-star all-inclusive vacations in Mexico and Jamaica.
